Angela Ferguson said her family had waited more than three hours for a chance to thank the superstar, in person, for a memorable visit with their son.
“About four years ago, Mike came to our house. My son Craig is in kidney failure. He came to visit Craig and my daughter Amy. Craig wasn’t taking his medications. Mike came and sat with him for about half an hour and played a bit of mini-sticks with him. He autographed all of the stuff we had. Craig and Mike sat and discussed how many scars they each had.
“Mike made sure that Craig understood it was necessary to take the medication. If Mike didn’t listen to his trainers, he wouldn’t be where he is now. Since then, Craig has always taken his meds, and if he have any issues, we always remind him what Mike said when Mike came and sat on his couch,” she concluded.
